Yogurt Masks are a natural alternative to expensive over the counter skin care.  It can be used two to three times a week.  The main purpose of  administering a yogurt mask is to keep skin healthy and glowing  free of chemicals and preservatives.

  1. Ahh. So simple and elegant! I love it! I will have to try it out on my lady.
Keep up the great posts and beautiful photos.
I have been working on a Frankincense rejuvinating mask and “Anti-Aging creme”, a work in process that uses the whole resin, not just the Frankincense essential oil which holds only a very small part the trees therapeutic properties. Though my focus over the years has been mainly on the medicinal aspect of herbology, ( perhaps as I age), I am drawn to skin care and maintainance.
Then again, as you point out with the subjects you cover in your Blog, nutrition, therapy, and even beauty, are all interconnected.
I have found that a “Cough Balm” I produce from the whole resin, (sap), of Pine and Spruce, has had the effect of ohysically tightening, smoothing and reducing wrinkles. Though it was not the purpose of the Chest Rub, I have a few clients who use it for that specific purpose. It does make perfect sense though since one of the main functions of a trees’ sap is to protect, heal and maintain its outer layer or skin. Since Frankincense esssential oil is used to treat mature skin and wrinkles, and the whole resin contains so many more valuble Phytochemicals than the distilled essential oil, It seems a promising candidate for rejuvenative and anti-aging applications.
Look forward to future posts and links.
    Dan

    1. I love your comments. Thank you so much! How can I find more about your products. I will do more research on Frankincense as I am sure that as the tree is thick and full of resin, that is symbolic for what it can achieve on the skin! Thanks for the tip!
